Country Road began as a team of four who set up shop in Hawthorn. Led by Stephen Bennett, they started with a simple shirt, known now as a Country Road icon.

The name was chosen to reflect the brand’s ethos; Country was chosen to signify a strong design to create product with authenticity, while Road acknowledged the way forward.

A simple aesthetic became synonymous with the brand. The label quickly evolved into Australia’s first lifestyle brand. From start to finish, inspiration to final product, every product is considered, well-structured and hard-wearing, yet effortless in approach.

Heritage Sweaters

Proudly made using 100% verified Australian cotton. CR partner with Oritain to scientifically trace our Verified fibres back to Australian farms. Cut in a relaxed fit, it has the Country Road logo embroidered at the chest. For a fitted silhouette, we recommend sizing down.

High Waisted Leggings

Soft, stretchy and perfectly cut, our legging features a flattering high rise waist and comfortable fit. It’s made in heavy stretch nylon with a wide waistband and an internal pocket at the centre back.

Organically Grown Linen Shirts 

Made using organically grown linen, this shirt has a classic button-through front with shell-look buttons and a curved hemline. Long sleeves. Regular fit. 100% organically grown linen. Currently available in white, navy, chambray and Bloom.

Our iconic Heritage tee is proudly made using verified Australian cotton. Cut in a relaxed fit, it has the original Country Road logo embroidered at the chest. For a more fitted silhouette, we recommend sizing down.

This tee is proudly made using textured for everyday comfort. Cut in a relaxed, boxy silhouette, it features a classic crew neckline and an embroidered monogram at the back of the neck. Various colours available.
